Intended Usage

First and foremost - Writing down what I read, summarizing and paraphrasing it shall help me to understand and apply it. In addition, I will use it as a reference and guidance.
(---> Uhhh, I am so selfish)

Others - especially any colleagues of mine - may well read and instantly forget about it or ignore this blog altogether in the first place. They may, however, also try to integrate things into their lectures as well as skim through the content from time to time - both as a reminder of already read content or in search of new stuff. Actually, I thought about creating an eMail newsletter in the beginning, but skipped that idea after considering pro´s and con´s compared with an (online) blog...
(--> You know me: I am not a noble or helpful person; I simply want to show off, nothing else)

At best readers will leave some sort of comment and get engaged in some sort of dialogue --- this would help all of us and advance both our understanding and our abilities most!
(--> Again, not because of any "greater good",but purely to maximize my very own benefit)

 

In an ideal word, it is not only individual lecturers and hence students benefitting from this blog, but the institutions we work for. When quality (standards) rise, so will the reputation (of lecturers, institutions and graduates!
